How many geothermal energy projects are there?

There are various geothermal energy projects ongoing in the Netherlands, with a focus on both developing new projects and scaling up existing ones. Today, there are several geothermal heating systems up and running, especially in regions such as Haarlemmermeer and the southwestern part of the Netherlands. Aside from that, there are various projects that are in the research and development phase.
